Prayer and Intercession against Suicide:
14th June 2007

Suicide and depression continue to be important issues for a significant number of young people in the city of Belfast and throughout this island. A few weeks ago, at a regular meeting of church leaders in Belfast it was recognised that, along with the social and cultural aspects to this problem, there was a dark, spiritual dimension that cannot be ignored. Through the blood of Jesus, God has given his church victory, dominion and authority over these 'principalities and powers' and we need to be willing to exercise those weapons and focus that power, specifically on occasions. Now is one of those occasions.

Therefore, on the 14th June 2007 at 7.30pm there will be a united evening of praise, worship and prayer at the Beechmount Leisure Centre, Falls Road, Belfast.

So, you are invited to come along and join us, regardless of which church you attend (if any), to stand in agreement with us or even receive prayer or help yourself. The meeting will be led by Pastor David Pedlow of Shalom Victory Church with the worship being led by Pastor Wayne Carr of Riverock.
